sotd, 02.22.06 - "Mushaboom"
Kicking my music enlightenment program off will be a rather addictive track from Feist called "Mushaboom". Now, I know this isn't the most 'underground' track ever, since there has been a lot of acclaim around Feist lately. What's more, this is likely her most prominent track; definately Let It Die's most acclaimed single.
In any case, "Mushaboom" is a standout track. The reason it stikes me so much is that it's just so... innocent! Listening to this song instantly instills a sense of carefree happiness. It's so airy and delightful that I've actually sworn myself to stop listening to it for fear that I become tired of it!
I don't know much about Feist actually, and most of what I do know is things I've pieced together and should not be taken as fact (I should really research things before I post them). I believe her full name is Leslie Feist and she is of some sort of French background. Obviously I'm not one for artist bio's, but that was just something to chew on while listening to today's track.
PS - The video for this song is v-e-r-y good. I have a copy of it and will try to get it uploaded sometime, because it is definately worthy. You can probably find it online somewhere in the meantime.

Yeah I feel the same way. She has one of those voices that makes you go "Wow. She sounds hot! And if she's half as good beautiful as her voice is, she's a knock-out!". There are a few singers that do that for me (female, obviously).
